Your Will
Making your Will is a very personal decision. It can also be an inspiring one, offering the opportunity to make the type of gift that you may not be able to make during your lifetime. Through a gift in will, you can support what you value about the OMFC, knowing that it will continue to grow and be cherished through assisting the lives of future generations of players.
How to include the OMFC in your Will
You can remember the OMFC in your will by leaving a gift in will to the Dark Blue Foundation. If you would like to leave a fixed amount in your Will for the general use of the Dark Blue Foundation, we suggest you use the following wording:
‘I give (insert amount) to The Dark Blue Foundation, Victoria ABN xx xxx xxx xxx specifically to support the Old Melburnians Football Club.
If you would like to leave a percentage of your Estate in your Will for the general use of the Dark Blue Foundation, we suggest you use the following wording:
‘I give (insert percentage) of my residuary estate to the Dark Blue Foundation, Victoria ABN xx xxx xxx xxx specifically to support the Old Melburnians Football Club.
If you would like to leave either of the above options and have an amount you wish to donate and attract a tax deduction (through the ASF) please contact David Elam m 0418 108 928.
Recognition of Your Generosity
When you notify us that the OMFC has been remembered in your Will, you will be invited to become part of the 1920 Club which is part of the heritage of the OMFC.
The 1920 Club is our way of acknowledging and thanking our generous supporters who have pledged to remember OMFC in their Will. This prestigious group of benefactors includes a growing number of like-minded friends of OMFC.
We ensure our donors stay connected with the club and are kept informed with OMFC news and activities. Exciting calendar events throughout the year including an annual luncheon hosted by OMFC (during a fixtured home game) enables donors to keep in touch with their OMFC friends.
